Man Charged For Dragging Officer

A man sought by York Regional Police after an officer was dragged by a car and another nearly run over in Concord, was arrested on Tuesday.
He was picked up by Toronto Police.
On March 12th around 3:30 a.m., a pair of officers investigated a vehicle parked at the Pinecrest Motel on Hwy. 7 between Keele and Jane streets.
According to police, plates on the car didn't match the ones that were suppose to be on it and the vehicle identification number was obscured.
The driver of the vehicle was staying at the hotel and after he was asked to get ID from inside the vehicle, he put it in gear, dragging one of the officers and almost striking the other.
Officers pursued the man into Toronto but terminated the chase because he was driving too dangerously.
