Sylvester Found Guilty

Daniel Sylvester has been found guilty of second degree murder in the death of his next-door neighbour, 25-year-old Alicia Ross.
The jury of four men and eight women deliberated for less then four hours yesterday before delivering their verdict.
The conviction carries an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for at least 10 years.
Ross' mother, Sharon Fortis, sobbed quietly as the jury's decision was announced in the Newmarket courtroom.
The official sentence will be handed down in court on July 4.
