McGuinty Visits Markham

Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty made a brief appearance in Markham last night to help incumbent Markham-Unionville MPP Michael Chan open his campaign office.
Ending a hectic day that had the premier campaigning in Ottawa and Lindsay, he and wife Terri were greeted by about 70 supporters.
Included in the gathering were 14 members of Markham Firefighter Association local 2727, whose 236 members have declared their support for Chan.

The Blue Jays have now dropped four in a row, after last night's 9-2 loss to the New York Yankees.
The big blow came in the 5th inning when Yankee DH Jason Giambi belted his 12th career grand slam.

Richmond Hill's Raymond Oh shot a one-over par 72 yesterday for a two-stroke victory in the Golf Association of Ontario's Baka Wireless men's public player championship at Mill Run Golf Club in Uxbridge.
