Water Advisory In York Region

Extremely low precipitation values and lower than average stream flows have led to the issuing of a water advisory in York Region.
Residents are being asked to conserve water by cutting back on non-essential uses, both around the home and at work, to help achieve a 10-per-cent reduction in overall water usage.
The move follows the issuing of outdoor water bans in Newmarket, Aurora, Oak Ridges and Maple last week.
