MARKHAM ~ September 28, 2007~ Local entrepreneurs can “wake up” with business leaders at the Markham Small Business Enterprise Centre’s Small Business Forum. It’s a unique morning of learning and networking packed with great ideas to help entrepreneurs succeed. During the forum, more than 80 entrepreneurs will hear from representatives of the Town of Markham, the Ontario Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, RBC Royal Bank, and business leaders.

MARKHAM, ON ~ Join Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Members of Markham Council as they participate in the Guinness World Record Walk—an attempt to break the world record for the largest number of people walking one kilometre simultaneously

The Town of Markham joins communities across Canada to promote a culture of walking through participation in the World Record Walk. This complements Markham’s commitment to Active 2010 and to encouraging walking and bicycling as more active means of transportation.
