Crown Expected To Rest In Ross Murder Trial

The Crown will rest in the Alicia Ross murder trial today after eight days of testimony, during which her killer's own words formed the cornerstone of its case.
Crown prosecutor Kelly Wright told jurors on day one of the trial that she would prove Ross' next door neighbour, Daniel Sylvester, 33, intended to kill the 25-year-old Thornhill woman.
Sylvester's lawyers are expected to begin their defence as early as tomorrow.
