End In Sight For Vaughan Election Recount

Vaughan’s mayoral controversy could come to an end today.
More than 60,000 votes cast in the November municipal election were recounted yesterday morning at the Terrace Banquet Hall in Concord.
Of those, 1,322 were blank, according city clerk John Leach.
That leaves approximately 300 to be counted and scrutinized today at the civic centre.
Mayor Linda Jackson and former mayor Micheal Di Biase were both on hand to witness the recount.
Results may be announced today or tomorrow.
