Crown Wraps Up Case At Ross Murder Trial

In the final day of testimony from Crown witnesses at the Alicia Ross murder trial, the court heard how Ross' remains could have decomposed as quickly as one week after they were dumped in a remote area.
The jury also heard from a forensic expert, who said the multiple fractures inflicted on Ross' rib cage are more consistent with injuries suffered by victims of an airplane crash, fatal vehicle collision or a soldier killed during a war.
The defence team of accused killer Daniel Sylvester will open its case on Tuesday.
They are only expected to call one witness.
