A Richmond Hill man who plunged off a roof in Markham last month is out of hospital and in rehab, according to the province's Special Investigations Unit.
The unit interviewed medical personnel from Markham Stouffville Hospital last week in its investigation of the April 10 incident.
The 26-year-old man, who is believed to have been a mental health patient, fled from Markham Stouffville Hospital, then fell from a garage in the Cornell area.
The SIU is now probing and verifying all evidence to determine the circumstances of the man's injuries and what role, if any, police played.
