A dead body has been discovered along the GO train tracks at the Old Cummer station early this morning, causing the rerouting of transit service from Richmond Hill.
Toronto police are investigating the scene of the fatal stabbing, and train service at the station has been suspended, according to the transit service's website.
Reports said investigators found a knife at the scene, but it was unclear whether the knife was used in the attack.
The victim was described as a male in his 20s who had sustained multiple stab wounds.
Shuttle buses are transporting commuters from Old Cummer to the Oriole GO station, and passengers boarding at Richmond Hill, Langstaff and Oriole have been told they can expect delays of about 15-20 minutes.
