Markham deputy mayor Jim Jones is to be back in court Nov. 22 in connection with a sexual assault charge laid against him in February.Jones was charged Feb. 1 after a 21-year-old cleaning woman at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake told Niagara Regional Police she had been sexually assaulted.A day after his arrest, Mr. Jones denied the charge, telling the Markham Economist & Sun hewould defend himself “vigorously”.
