Markham Libraries Hold Halloween Workshops
Markham library branches are offering ways to make Halloween memorable with a pair of workshops.The Angus Glen branch will hold a face painting workship where parents can watch as their children have their faces painted by a professional. The instructor will demonstrate tips and techniques for creating spectacular designs that will dazzle family and friends Halloween night.The workshop takes place on Oct. 27 from 2 to 3 p.m. Cost is $10 per child and is open to all ages.The library is at 3990 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Warden Avenue.Children can also learn how to create Halloween crafts in a workshop at the Milliken Mills branch on Oct. 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. The workshop costs $15, includes all materials, and is open to children between the ages of seven to 12.The Milliken branch is at 7600 Kennedy Rd., Unit 1, just south of 14th Avenue.
