Awareness Breakfast 2008

The Alzheimer Society of York Region invites you to participate in our 11th “Annual Alzheimer Awareness Breakfast”

Guest Speaker: Amanda Wootton

“At 27 years of age Amanda Wootton is living proof that a positive attitude works. She is the vibrant Mom of a busy 12 year old son and she is currently finishing up studies to become a personal support worker. When she was just 19 years of age Amanda was the subject of the CBC documentary “Amanda’s Choice” which followed her undergo the dilemma of being tested for the early onset Alzheimer gene. Since her testing Amanda has become an advocate for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
