Elementary Student Dies

Police are investigating the death of a student at a Markham school yesterday.
A young boy was rushed to Markham Stouffville Hospital following an incident at John McCrae P.S. in the Major Mackenzie and McCowan area.
He was pronounced dead upon reaching the hospital.
Media reports state that the boy was found at the bottom of a stairwell during gym class.
Police confirmed they were aware of the matter but would not release any details.
