A recent study, commissioned by the Town of Markham, indicates there are significant opportunities to build on the Town’s reputation for high technology leadership through the attraction of companies in the life sciences, biotechnology and creative industries.
As a first step, the Mayor and Members of the business and social community will participate in a morning workshop on Wednesday, March 21st, at the Angus Glen Golf Course (10080 Kennedy Road).
Those attending will hear keynote speaker, Dr. Jerry Halik, of Markham Stouffville Hospital, followed by workshop summary remarks from Mayor Frank Scarpitti.
