Sports Report

The Blue Jays jumped out in front 3-1, but their bullpen was unable to hold the lead, as the Boston Red Sox beat Toronto, 5-3.
Sean Marcum took the loss after giving up a game tying two-run homer to Manny Ramirez in the 8th and then walking Eric Hinske in the 9th.
Hinske scored on Alex Cora's RBI triple, off Jason Frasor.
The Jays are in Baltimore to begin a weekend series against the Orioles.
AJ Burnett (1-1) will face Baltimore's Daniel Cabrera (1-1).

The NLL playoffs begin tonight.
Toronto Rock will face the Rochester Knighthawks in the opening round.
The game begins at 7:30pm in Rochester.

Toronto FC acquired defender Kevin Goldthwait and a 2008 first round draft pick from the Houston Dynamo in exchange for midfielder Richard Mulrooney.

Tomorrow, the Raptors begin round one of the NBA Playoffs against the New Jersey Nets.
Tip off: 12:30pm, at the Air Canada Centre.
