The Town of Markham, in partnership with the RCGA Canadian Open, is staging a series of special events to welcome visitors and golfers.
The Markham Theatre will feature a special Yuk Yuk's on Tour performance by Gerry Dee on Tuesday, July 24, while the Markham Museum will host an Intercultural Festival featuring food, music, arts and entertainment on their 25-acre grounds, from July 28-29.
Meanwhile, the Varley Art Gallery continues its 10th anniversary celebrations and partners with the Merchants of Unionville for a three-day Golf Festival, from July 26-28.
The Canadian Open will be held at the Angus Glen Golf Club from July 23-29.
