Sports Report

The American League edged out the National League 5-4, at Baseball's All-Star game yesterday.
Seattle's Ichiro Suzuki became the first player to hit an inside-the-park home run in All-Star game history.
With the win, the American League extended their unbeaten streak at the Mid-Summer Classic to ten games.
The regular season resumes on Thursday.


The Raptors have signed Jamario Moon to a two-year contract.
The free agent forward played for Albany in the Continental Basketball Association last season.
Moon was seventh in league scoring, averaging 18.8 points per game.


Toronto FC's Ronnie O'Brien has been added to the Major League Soccer All-Star roster. O'Brien has four assists in 11 games this season and will be making his 4th All-Star appearance.
The MLS All-Stars will face Scotland's Celtic FC next week.

Round two of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup gets underway today.
Austria will take on Gambia in Edmonton, the United States plays Uruguay in Toronto, Spain challenges Brazil in Burnaby, and Japan faces the Czech Republic in Victoria.
