A Richmond Hill man has been charged with robbing a Maple bank last week.
At about 10 a.m. Friday, a man armed with a handgun approached a teller at the ScotiaBank on Major Mackenzie Drive and
demanded cash.
The teller placed the cash in the man's bag.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Police released video surveillance footage Monday, asking for help identifying the suspect.
Officers arrested a man later that day.
James McRobb, 46, of Richmond Hill is charged with robbery and firearms offences.
He was held for a bail hearing yesterday.
