Shots Fired During Attempted Carjacking

York Regional Police are probing a carjacking and shooting in a Thornhill parking lot.
The chaos began when a black BMW was carjacked in Toronto by two men around 12:15 a.m., Tuesday.
Driven to a Tim Hortons parking lot in the Leslie Street and Hwy. 7 area, the victim and the carjackers broke out in a scuffle during which the attackers fired a gun.
According to York Regional Police, the suspects fled, approaching the driver of a second vehicle and demanding the man's keys.
He didn't comply and ran back into the coffee shop.
Police are working with limited descriptions of the male suspects.
