Sports Report

The Maple Leafs picked up a big win over Tampa Bay last night, beating the Lighting, 3-2. Captain Mats Sundin led the Leafs, picking up one goal and one assist.
With the win, Toronto is one point away from 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Leafs face Washington on Friday.

The Raptors host the New York Knicks tonight. The Raps are 5.5 games in front of their Atlantic Division opponents and are winners of 3 straight. Tip off is at 7pm at the ACC.

AJ Burnett allowed one hit over four innings as the Blue Jays shutout the Boston Red Sox, 1-0. Burnett, who was injured during the first half of the 2006 season, threw 61 pitches, striking out five and giving up two walks. The Jays take on the Cleavland Indians this afternoon in Florida.
