Sports Report

Roy Hallady picked up his league-leading fifth complete game, as the Blue Jays defeated the Los Angeles Angels on Anaheim 4-1.
Halladay went the distance giving a run on five hits and picking up two strikeouts.
Game two of the three-game series will take place tonight at the Rogers Centre.
Sean Marcum (9-4) will face LA's Dustin Moseley (4-1)

At the Rogers Cup Tennis tournament in Toronto, yesterday's winners included Stephanie Dubois, Sybille Bammer and Meghann
Shaughnessy.
The tournament continues at York University.

The Guelph Royals have evened up their best-of-seven playoff series at three games a piece, after beating the Maple
Leafs 9-2.
Game seven will be played tonight at Christie Pits, with the winner advancing to the Intercounty finals.
First pitch - 7:30pm

The Markham Waxers have released their pre-season schedule.
The first game will be on August 23rd against Peterborough at York University's Ice Sports arena.
The Waxers wrap up the pre-season on August 31, against Stouffville at the Centennial Arena.
