Sprinkler System Saves Country Club

A sprinkler is being credited for helping to keep a fire from spreading at the Richmond Hill Country Club last weekend.
Firefighters received a call just before 10 p.m. Saturday, from an employee who reported a fire in the sauna area of the club.
Smoke carried through the club and also interrupted a function.
Four trucks and 17 firefighters took about 45 minutes to get the blaze under control.
According to Richmond Hill Deputy Fire Chief, Brian Ellsworth, the sprinkler system was a big help.
Cause of the fire, which investigators say caused $150,000 in damage, is unknown.
